SlumberTales is a personalized AI bedtime story service for parents: you add a child’s first name, age, and a few favorite worlds, and a parent reads the story at lights-out. The first generated story is free; after that, $4.99 for the first month leads into a monthly cap of 12, 20, or 30 stories, not an unlimited supply.
SlumberTales (slumbertales.app) is the AI personalized bedtime story subscription — not the unrelated Mashieldhouse podcast, not an Undertale fan work, and not SlumberSpark. Parents read the story aloud. Audio coming soon. For now, read the story together. Audio narration is off, so this is not an app a child presses play on.
Personalization here is modest on purpose. We do not ask for a biography. First name, age, a color, a world — forest, sea, stars, a tired dragon, a tiny garden — and, once a profile exists, a friend or a pet. That is enough for the hero to feel true and still keep the evening short.

What “personalized” includes, and what it leaves out
It means the child is the one who wakes the lantern tree, or teaches a comet how to hush. The age you set changes the length of the sentences. Friends and pets can walk in after you add them. On Plus and Premium, a toy companion can be a sidekick, and Series Mode can continue a plot across nights.
It does not mean a dossier. We do not ask for a child’s last name for public display, a precise address, or a phone number for the child. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use child profile details to build advertising audiences. The adult account holder receives the full text, decides it is fit, and reads it.
How a parent starts tonight
Open the sample at https://slumbertales.app/sample and read it with the child’s first name. No account is required for that page. If the hush of it fits the house, sign in with the parent email, add the short profile, and generate the one free story.
The full personalized text is emailed to the parent account and saved in the Magic Library. There is not a second forever-free night behind the button. When you want more, start a plan from the pricing page ($4.99 first month) and promise a cap you can keep.
Who this is not for
It is not for a child alone with a login, not for an unlimited audio library, and not for anyone searching for a podcast, a fan story, or a different product that only shares part of the name.
If sleep has become fear, pain, or something you cannot name, a story app is not treatment. Talk with the child’s pediatrician. The American Academy of Pediatrics publishes parent information at https://www.healthychildren.org, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention publishes child-development resources at https://www.cdc.gov/child-development. We will still be here for the ordinary nights.

Questions with direct answers
Each answer below is written to stand on its own. The FAQPage structured data on this document quotes these answers and no others.
What is a personalized AI bedtime story for parents?
It is an original tale in which your child is the hero, written for you to read aloud. SlumberTales uses the first name, age, and favorite worlds on the child profile. It is not a cartoon, a social feed, or a story the child operates alone.
Parents read the story aloud. Audio coming soon. For now, read the story together. Audio narration is off, so this is not an app a child presses play on.
What do I need to give SlumberTales?
A parent email, the child’s first name, an age, and a few favorite things. You do not need a biography, a photo of the child, or a payment card for the first generated story. The sample can be read before any of that.
Is the first personalized story free?
Your first personalized story is free. Cancel anytime. After that first story, start a plan: $4.99 for your first month, then your plan's regular monthly price.
Are the stories unlimited?
No. Paid plans include a monthly story cap: 12, 20, or 30 stories — not unlimited. Starter is 12 for 1 child. Plus is 20 for up to 2 children. Premium is 30 per child for up to 5 children. SlumberTales costs $9.99 a month for 12 stories, $14.99 a month for 20 stories, or $19.99 a month for 30 stories per child — not unlimited.
How do I cancel a plan?
Yes. Open Settings → Manage billing to change or cancel your plan in the Stripe billing portal. You do not need to contact support to cancel. Cancel at period end as shown in the portal. For a full money-back refund, use Settings → Request full refund.
